The vision offered by the Obama campaign is being given voice by voters standing in lines across America. The tide of change is rising. An idea is sweeping the nation. Hope is being whispered and awaited.

Meanwhile, stagnant platitudes and the incense of fear, remains the driving force of the McCain campaign. In desperation, a blame game is being played among the little men who would be kings. Pitiful pundits and “mean stream” AM radio has beens, in an attempt to salvage a sinking ship, hurl blame about wildly without caution. They seized upon a false news story(The Backward B fiasco) like starving jackals. Glenn Beck, a truly foolish, little anal oriented orator of hate, was one of the first to sink his teeth into the rotted meat. Reciting from the Dirge report(Or is that the Drudge Report) he attempted to light the flames of race, thinking that is what the Republican party needs to save its fetid soul. Howling “Marxist” has just not worked like it used to, so Glenn recited his litany of “if”.

“IF” has become the mantra of the right wing. “IF” McCain had only distanced himself from Bush two years ago things would be different. “IF” Lenin would rise from his grave and embrace Obama, “IF” Obama couldn’t find his birth certificate, “IF” Acorn would have not been so successful in giving the disenfranchised the power of the vote. “IF” the Republican lie machine was working properly, things wouldn’t be so gloomy in the halls of hate. “IF” George Bush had a brain. “IF” the turds would only blossom.

Listening to the punditry on any channel and counting the number of “IFs” is truly a daunting challenge . “IF” the Red States “IF” the Blue States suddenly change. IFs and Butts is all you hear. “IF” Palin had never been allowed to speak. “IF” we could only find a cavemans’ bones lying next to a half eaten dinosaur. “IF” a six foot four inch black man would carve a B on the face of a McCain supporter things would change. “IF” Bin Laden would only call, John McCain would save the day. “IF” the tax plan of the Democrats wasn’t better than the Republicans. “IF” McCain could only paint a vision of fear then we would be saved. “IF IF IF”…
